Emotional Intelligence is the foundation of all relationships, communication, performance, and motivation. Once we have the ability to make others around us feel good, then we can start building the kind of relationships that allow for an increased level of communication and understanding.
The aim of this course is to help you to navigate and engage with the core components of emotional intelligence in an autism friendly and sensitive environment. That's why the course is self paces and contains a wide variety of multi modal content, including videos, written articles, flow charts, analogies, and other mental models to help you engage with the content and engage with in in the way you learn best.

How does the course work?
The structure of the course focuses on the four quadrants of Emotional Intelligence with each week building on the skills learned in the previous week.
Each week you will receive three self-paced lessons in both PDF and video format. Each lesson also contains activities for you to practice your skills and a list of additional resources for further study (e.g. books, online articles, TED talks).

Paul discovered he was on the Autism Spectrum 5 years ago. Since then he has worked with countless autistic adults and children, as well as teaching parents teachers and students about Autism. He is also an aerospace engineer with a passion for teaching and Emotional Intelligence.
